Optionally, garnish with extra herbs or a wedge of lime.
Tips for Perfect Larb Moo
-
Balance flavors: Larb should be a mix of sour, salty, sweet, and spicy. Adjust lime, fish sauce, sugar, and chili to taste.
-
Fresh herbs matter: Mint and cilantro give the salad its signature aroma.
-
Optional toasted rice powder: Adds texture and a nutty flavor; authentic Thai Larb usually includes it.
-
Serve as a light main dish or as a side dish in a Thai meal.
Larb Moo is a quintessential Thai salad—fresh, spicy, and full of bold flavors. It’s perfect for a healthy lunch or as part of a Thai feast, and it’s quick enough to prepare at home!
