Bangkok Laem Fish Ball Noodle Soup at Huaikwang | 700 bowls sold daily | Secret Recipe of broth Revealed

Thai rice noodle soup is one of the popular dish here in Thailand or elsewhere. It can also be breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snack for Thai people. Regardless of time and day.
This Thai rice noodle soup shop sells 700 bowls a day and is located near MRT Sutthisan in Bangkok.
In addition, the store also revealed their secret soup recipe, which can be purchased at BIG C or any Thai supermarkets.
Not only the rice noodle soup, their fish balls can be sold up to 100 kilograms a day.
I happen to know this restaurant, is from food delivery app "Lineman", attracted from the high and good reviews.
So I decide to give the restaurant a visit.

Behind the window, you can see all kinds of fish balls, shrimp balls, and fish dumplings.
Each of them are looking very large and plump.

I love fried wonton dumplings. They are super delicious when soaked in rice noodle soup.

Lots of chilis and chili vinegar place by the store front for delivery and takeout orders..
This tells me they got lots of delivery orders daily.

I got to the restaurant at 2pm, already past lunch hours. Still many customers.

Also lots of takeout orders. Staff at the front is packing delivery orders.

Been recommended by Thai media and Internet belebrities

Different dishes, fish ball noodles soup,  signature Yen Ta Pho noodle soup, Tom Yum Noodle Soup, dry noodles, mixed fish balls, fried shrimp balls and dumplings, etc.

All fish balls, shrimp balls and fish dumplings are made themselves. Three types of fish are used fresh every day: swordfish (to make it fluffy), amberjack (to make it crispy) and mackerel (to make it sticky).  All mashed together. Then shape it into fish balls. The fish balls were crispy, bouncy, and fluffy without any fishy smell.

On the noodle cooking area, staff is packing the noodles for delivery orders. The large and plump fish balls looking really appetizing.
Although there are many people waiting for the meal, the staff does not cook all the fish balls at once, which is to maintain the freshness and sweetness of the fish balls and the cooking time shouldn't be too long.

Minced pork for the soup.

There are different condiments on the cooking area, fried garlic oil, Yen Ta Fo sauce, chili powder, lemon, peanut powder, and soup, these are the soul for different kinds of soup.
For Tom Yum, sugar, lemon, fish sauce, peanut powder, and minced pork are added.
For Yen Ta Fo, Yong Tau Foo sauce.

For drinks, I ordered chrysanthemum tea, they also have longan tea and so on.
2 baht for ice cup.

Free tea on every table.

Over 10 minutes of wait, my noodle is finally served. You can tell how busy and crowded this restaurant is.
I ordered rice noodle in clear soup. I love the texture of rice noodle, it's smooth and flows fast into your mouth.

60 Baht for this bowl, filled with fish balls, shrimp balls and fish dumplings, all very larch and plump and no fishy smell.
Fish balls are delicious, chewy, like every bit of it contains soup inside the fish balls.
Broth is clear and sweet, the mixture of broth, fried lard and fried garlic, give it many thumbs up.

I added pepper and chili. Which made my rice noodle soup taste even better! Thai pepper is also very famous and very fragrant. My relatives often bought alot of it from China Town Yaowarat everytime they visit Thailand.  You can get it anywhere in Thailand, like 7-11, big C, any supermarket, it's just cheaper there in China Town Yaowarat.

I also ordered their signature Tom Yum mix Yen Ta Fo Rice Noodle Soup. This bowl contains jellyfish, fried tofu, vetables, fried wonton sheet and of course fish balls and shrimp balls.

This bowl seem bigger, also lots of vegetables. Soup takes sour, sweet. only 80 Baht per bowl.

On the menu, you can order a plate of fish balls dipped in its seafood dipping sauce, that's 60 baht,
shrimp balls for 70 baht, fish dumplings for 80 baht,
and mixed fish balls, shrimp balls and fish dumplings for 80 baht.
If you can't get enough of their fish balls, you can add more. You can also buy their uncooked fish balls, shrimp balls and fish dumplings from 185 Baht to 330 Baht.
I bought it and cooked with mala hot pot at home. It was pretty nice!
