What are the transportations in Thailand?

- Tuk-tuk: Three-wheeled motorcycles, generally concentrated tourist attractions. Price is not transparent and needs to be negotiated, so it is easy to get ripped off.
- Bus: To take a bus in Thailand, you can download the viabus app, which has an English version. However, Thailand’s bus routes and station names are more complicated, and the vehicle environment is average, making it less suitable for people traveling to Thailand for the first time.
- MRT: BTS, MRT, 15-40 baht. Only Bangkok has MRT. There is no MRT in Pattaya, Phuket and Chiang Mai. The main transportation when traveling in Bangkok are taxis, chartered cars, motorcycles and MRT/BTS.
- Take a boat: If you want to go to the island, you need to take a boat.
Where to stay in Thailand?
- Bangkok: If you go to Bangkok for the first time, it is recommended to stay near Central World shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand. It is better to live close to BTS and MRT. The transportation is convenient and the attractions are nearby!

- Phuket Island: It is recommended to choose beaches such as Phuket Town, Patong Beach, Kamala, Kata and Karon. Prices in other places are more expensive.
